Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for a high calibre individual who seeks a position of challenge in a fast pace, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility of the legal function of the Group and will report to the CFO. Main responsibilities include:
• Draft, review and implement Group’s business contracts and other legal agreements and documents
• Advise on legal matters and provide ongoing legal support to Senior Management
• Ensure compliance with the legal framework of all countries of operation
• Review the Group’s policies and procedures and amend as deemed necessary
• Attend Board Meetings and represent the Group at meetings with external bodies
• Liaise with the Group’s external legal advisors
• Keep abreast of relevant legislation and regulations
• Set up and lead the legal team
Profile of the ideal candidate
• MSc in Law or relevant field
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in a senior managerial role
• Experience in the reviewing and drafting banking agreements and documentation
• Dynamic, hands-on and results driven
• Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and under pressure
• High levels of commitment, energy and drive
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of Greek and English
• Will be required to travel extensively in the Middle East
